PAS projects

Organic Community Garden

To promote healthy eating, why not start from cultivation? This project to build greenhouses for the organic cultivation of vegetables uses the substrate from the compost from the Angelus cafeteria, and aims to supply daycare centers in the surrounding community, in addition to encouraging employees to grow their own vegetables.

The inspiration for this project was based on the following SDGs, namely:

  • SDG 2: hunger and sustainable agriculture;
  • SDG 3: health and well-being;
  • SDG 11: sustainable cities and communities;
  • SDG 12: responsible consumption and production;
  • SDG 17: partnerships and means of implementation.

Corporate education

Angelus believes that its employees’ education is essential for people's good health and well-being (SDG 3); as well as to ensure sustainable production and consumption patterns (SDG 12).

The actions involve changes in habits, such as the use of ceramic mugs instead of plastic cups, and constant learning, with training of PAS leaders in ESG – Environmental Social Governance.

I adopted a daycare

The adoption of a municipal day care center in the community where Angelus is located provides for campaigns to meet specific needs, such as the donation of warm clothes, toys and Easter eggs. It also provides for an increase in the day care capacity with a renovation to expand the facilities.

The inspiration for this project was based on the following SDGs, namely:

  • SDG 1: Eradicating poverty: ending poverty in all its forms, everywhere;
  • SDG 2: Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture: Ending hunger, achieving food security and improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture;
  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being: ensuring a healthy life and promoting well-being for everyone, at all ages;
  • SDG 4: Quality education: ensuring inclusive, equitable and quality education, and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Chocolate Donation

The children of Guiomar Moreira Daycare center received chocolate during a voluntary initiative by Angelus employees on Easter this year. The collection of chocolate was carried out throughout the month by employees and on the delivery day we even sent an Easter bunny! This surprise ensured more fun and unforgettable moments for the more than 60 children at the daycare.
