Using an X-ray, check the fit of the post and sleeve, and cement the post first, followed by the sleeve.

TIP 1

Self-adhesive cements eliminate the need for acid etching and adhesive application. Always follow the instructions for use provided by the cement manufacturer.

TIP 2

Make certain that the cementing agent or composite resin has completely covered the fiberglass post. Exposed fibers absorb water, causing changes in the mechanical properties of the post.
